Who we are

Pocket Caper is a trade name of Ad Astra Contracting Inc., Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Our privacy officer is Ian Neumeyer. Contact: hello@pocketcaper.com.

What we collect for ready-made downloads

We do not take payments ourselves. Gumroad (merchant of record) or Etsy processes your order and shares with us your name, email address, what you bought, and your country, so we can deliver files and help you. We never see your full card number.

Personalized kits

Personalized kits are not offered yet; this is how they will work. We ask only for what the kit needs: a child's first name, age band, and optionally first names of siblings or pets and a theme from our list.

Please do not send last names, photos, birthdays, school names or addresses. The order form is for parents and guardians, not children.

How personalization data is processed

Personalization data is used only to create your kit. It may be sent to AI text providers we have configured for zero data retention (they do not store or train on it). Those providers may be in the United States, so the data may be processed outside Canada and Quebec.

Retention

Personalization details and the generated personalized files are deleted automatically 30 days after delivery. Download links are private, signed and expire.

Order records (name, email, product, amount) are kept as long as tax law requires, normally 6 years under Canada Revenue Agency rules.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent personal information.
  • Use children's information for marketing.
  • Run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Gumroad's checkout and Etsy have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

Ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by emailing the privacy officer. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or in Quebec to the Commission d'acces a l'information.

Children

Our site and products are for parents, guardians and teachers. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

Changes

We will post updates here with a new date. Last updated: DRAFT, October 2026.
