The 20 numbered puzzles include four story logic grids progressing from 3 by 3 to 4 by 4, four constrained number-code puzzles, three letter mazes, three word ladders, three 4 by 4 picture sudoku and three cipher-wheel messages. Software checks each generated puzzle for a single solution under its printed rules. Word ladders use a clearly printed closed word bank.
Bronze introduces each method, Silver adds a missing cipher setting and Gold adds a word-bank calibration before decoding. Later grids have four helpers and three categories. The three picture sudoku have a complete forced-fill trace, so no guessing is needed. Number solutions show every A-first trial and why it fails or fits. The first grid is a gentle starter; gold grids may need help.
Each puzzle has a nudge, a worked first step and a full solution. A grown-up delivers hints while keeping the answer hidden. Read the seven solution pages on screen to save printing. Optional cut-out wheels can help with all three codes; the starter also has paired alphabets, and later pages include an alphabet for counting the rotation without cutting.
The 32-page book has 20 puzzle pages, seven solution pages, a cover, briefing, tracker, wheel sheet and illustrated park finale with a crew certificate. Four PDFs offer Letter and A4 in colour and greyscale. Print one puzzle set per child or pair, with one shared wheel sheet; the cover and printed solutions are optional.
Designed for ages 8 to 12 in short sittings, alone or as a pair with reader and pencil-keeper roles. Estimate about 3 to 15 minutes per puzzle; some starters are quicker and harder grids can take longer. Complete it across several sittings, with help and breaks as needed. This is a puzzle book with a park-restoration story, not a timed escape room.
