Six evidence tasks across three rounds combine a footprint maze, a six-event clock log, parcel matching, a torn-note cipher, a location deduction and a final six-event reconstruction. The finale uses your earlier stamp and destination findings to recover the last route clue. Witness observations help explain the missing label and the saved snack.
15 pages per paper size, including three sheets with two evidence cards each, three sheets with two roles each, a shared case board, accusation slips, exact printing instructions, graded hints, worked solutions and a clearly labelled culprit speech. Four PDFs: Letter and A4, each in colour and greyscale.
Estimated play: 35 to 50 minutes; setup: 15 to 20 minutes. This is a planning estimate, not a measured session length. Ages 8 to 12 with adults; younger readers may need help. With 4 or 5 players the host reads spare roles; with 7 to 10 players some roles are shared. Print 15 sheets for the basic 4 to 6 player setup, omitting the cover and duplicating the accusation sheet. No real food or costumes required.
This is one fixed case, intended for one first-time investigation per group. The host sees the answer in advance. Original portraits and evidence illustrations use white backgrounds and outlines that remain clear in greyscale. Puzzle answers and the final suspect progression are checked by software; play time is an estimate.
