A new years eve escape room for ages 7 to 12 with grown ups: eight linked envelopes with a hand angle clock cipher, mirror beam routing, a letter maze, helper logic and the four repair tasks above. Different puzzles and story from our Countdown Kit; both share a stopped-clock theme, a letter maze and helper logic. This mission uses full puzzle sheets and a four-source dial finale.

Play the continuous rescue whenever your family is ready. A correct answer opens the next envelope. Bring your solved helper roster, named winding values, call order and shutter states to the final desk. No scheduled openings or finish-time options; the fictional midnight log is part of the puzzle.

Recommended for 2 to 4 active solvers. Up to 8 can pair up and take turns, with shared reader, solver, checker and keeper jobs. A grown-up reads or checks answers and supports younger readers and clock arithmetic. Optional harder tasks on the winding and midnight-call pages add reasoning for confident solvers.

Estimated play is 45 to 75 minutes including briefing, answer checks and the ending. Timing has not been measured in family sessions; confident solvers may finish sooner. Allow 10 to 15 minutes to print, sort and pack.

Each of the four PDFs has 21 pages: eight puzzle sheets, one repair board, eight host-reference pages, one label sheet, a cover, a story-ending certificate and an invention blueprint keepsake. Letter and A4 are supplied in colour and greyscale.

For one family, print nine required player sheets. Optional envelope labels add one sheet. Read the eight host pages on screen, or print them for 18 sheets with labels. Printing the entire PDF once uses 21 sheets; extra certificate and blueprint sets add two sheets per child. An optional extra working set of pages 6 to 13 adds eight sheets.

You supply pencils, erasers, scrap paper and eight envelopes at least 6 x 9 inches, or folded numbered sheets. A grown-up cuts the optional labels. No room hiding, real locks, student devices or household clock repair. Original vector characters, graded hints, illustrated working and a visible repair board are included. This is one fixed mission; its answers repeat on replay.
